The region of Emilia Romagna shares the same Appennino Mountain range with Tuscany - the backbone of Italy. Emilia Romagna is famous for producing Parma Ham, Balsamic Vinegar and Parmesan Cheese and is one of the most affluent regions of Italy.

Within The Appennino Tuscany-Emiliano National Park is the part medieval village of Sologno (750 meters above sea level) and this is where the house is. The Appennino Mountains surrounding the village are around 2000 meters high. The house is in the older part of the village called ‘Castello’ and is built on a ridge giving panoramic views from both sides of the property. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be seen from the private enclosed courtyard and terrace.
